It was during her 12-year tenure selling accessories for Ralph Lauren that Diane Cotton came to understand that people have an emotional connection to the jewelry they buy and wear. Cotton calls it the "everything has a story to tell" philosophy. When Cotton decided to launch her own line of jewelry, she took this idealogical thinking and married it with her love of vintage design and geology (she says she's been a "rock hound" since childhood). With razor-sharp focus, Cotton creates her lines seasonally, after obsessively researching the design sensibilities of some of her favorites--Lanvin, Dries Van Noten, Marc Jacobs, Marni and Dosa, to name a few--so that her pieces seamlessly blend with the current clothing trends. The result? Truly unique accessories that have a decidedly modern vintage appeal.
